Thailand is a Southeast Asian country. Only two hours flight distance from Dhaka Airport . Friendly and fun-loving country , there is plenty to see and enjoy . Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, is a large city known for ornate shrines and vibrant street life. Near by beaches Pattaya & Hua Hin . Pattaya is very famous for its sex industry.

Bangkok, Thailand Travel Guide: Grand Palace, Chao Phraya River, Wat Pho Tour + AMAZING Thai Food

This is our city guide and a full-day tour of Bangkok during our Thailand Trip. Most of Bangkok’s notable historical and cultural sites can be seen in a day or two. We partnered with Thai Tour Guide in a six-hour tour of the city that included the Grand Palace, a private long-boat ride on the Chao Phraya River, Wat Pho and a tasty Thai food lunch.

Our tour guide, Joy and a driver picked us up in a large van to transport us the different sites in a stress-free manner. First, we head to, The Grand Palace, the cities most famous landmark. It is a complex of buildings and has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam since 1782. Most tour ists come to see Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the famous 14th century Emerald Buddha. This is Thailand’s most sacred site, and out of respect, men and women, must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves. Young children are exempt from this rule.

After tour ing the Grand Palace, we head to the pier close by to take a long-tail boat cruise on the Chao Phraya River. Before boarding, our private boat we pick up delicious Thai ice tea, coffee, and some traditional Thai sweets. The ride from the long-tail boasts beautiful views of the Grand Palace and city skyline before heading to the traditional canals.

After the ride, we grab a quick lunch at the Krua Khun Kung at the Navy Club of Bangkok. Some of the highlights of the meal include a huge mango smoothie, Tom Yong Goong soup, and squid with salty egg.

We then make our way in the air-conditioned van to Wat Pho (Wat Po or The Temple of The Reclining Buddha), a Buddhist temple complex south of the Grand Palace. A must for any first-time visit or to Bangkok, it is famed for its giant reclining Buddha that measures 46 meters long and is completely covered in gold leaf.

The tour also included a visit to Bangkok’s Flower Market, but by this time our two batteries were drained from the filming. The market is not be missed either and gives you a glimpse of the importance of flowers in Thai culture.

Thai Street Food – EXTREME BBQ MEAT TOUR in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand | Thai Sausage and Laap!

Watch more Chiang Mai food videos:

T-shirts and caps:

I’ll just tell you straight up, Northern Thailand is known for its meat, and meat is a huge part of the local authentic food diet. So today I’m going to take you on a Northern Thai food meat tour – eat mostly amazing bbq meat and a dish called laap (ลาบ) – and show you some of the best restaurants in Chiang Mai, that I personally love.

Talad Mae Hia (ตลาดแม่เหี้ยะ) Market – We started off the morning at what is one of the best places in Chiang Mai for sai oua (ไส้อั่ว), or Northern Thai herb sausage. At the market, the stall is called Sai Oua Kao Bakam (ร้านไส้อั่วเก๊าบ่าขาม) and we ate their sai oua (ไส้อั่ว) and a brains packet (แอบอ๋องอ๋อ). The sausage was the highlight, a perfect balance of herbal and meatiness.
Price – 390 THB ($11.91) per kg.

Kum Sang Dao (คุ้มแสงดาวหมูย่าง) – Just outside of Chiang Mai, but well worth the effort to get there, is one of the most impressive, filled to the brim Northern Thai bbq meat grills. For any grillmaster, this will be a sight to behold. The northern Thai food grill is typically quite low heat so meat can just kind of hang around and smoke all day long as it’s eaten. We ordered the mixed grill (ย่างรวมมิตร), which included a mix of everything on the grill chopped up and served with sauce. Another highlight dish at Kum Sang Dao (คุ้มแสงดาวหมูย่าง) is theirsSoured pork, egg (จิ้นส้มหมกใส่ไข่). This is an amazing restaurant for Northern Thai meat dishes.
Total price – 390 THB ($11.91)

Laap Ton Koi Restaurant (ลาบต้นข่อย) – One of the best restaurants in Chiang Mai to eat at laap raw buffalo (ลาบควายดิบ), is Laap Ton Koi Restaurant (ลาบต้นข่อย), and I was very excited for this one. The minced buffalo was mixed with spices and bile, and herbs perfectly by the laap master. This is the best laap I have ever had in my life, it was absolutely incredible. We also ordered the Flash-cooked sliced meat (ส้าสะดุ้ง), and the pork herb curry (แกงอ่อมหมู).
Total price – 140 THB ($4.28)

Laap Ton Yang Restaurant (ร้านลาบต้นยาง) – Finally to end this Thai street food meat tour of Chiang Mai, we ate at one more of the best restaurants in Chiang Mai specializing in laap. Again the laap made with beef raw (ลาบเนื้อ ดิบ) was spectacular, but we also tried their laap pork cooked (ลาบหมู สุก), soured fried pork riblets (แหนมซี่โครงหมูทอด), steamed beef, chili dip (จิ้นนึ่ง นำ้พริกตาแดง), fish curry (แกงตูนป่า), and fried fish, herbs (ปลาทอดสมุนไพร). You don’t need to eat raw meat here, all the other Northern Thai food dishes are also spectacular. This is just a great restaurant in Chiang Mai.
Total price – 420 THB ($12.83)

Thank you for watching this Thai street food tour of Chiang Mai and hope you have an amazing time eating when you’re in Thailand!

Phi Phi Island Tour | Street Food | Phuket Thailand

Beyond the Bangkok Street Food and Shopping, there is a lot to explore in Thailand.

Phi Phi Island is one of the best tour ist attractions in Phuket Thailand.

Phi Phi Island is located in the pristine waters of Andaman ocean. It’s easily accessible through a speed boat or a big boat from Phuket or Krabi.

A one day tour from Phuket is the best option to visit the island. I chose the speed boat tour as it’s faster and it takes you to many remote locations which are not accessible via big boat.

My video will also showcase the amazing thai street food of phi phi Island.

Phi Phi Island are a group of small small islands, so here is what you can expect in the tour :-

The tour company van can picks you up from the hotel lobby early in the morning and drops you to the pier (light breakfast is offered at the pier) where you hop on to a speed boat.
The speed boat takes you to the following locations :-

A beach that became famous through shooting of Hollywood movies is shown from a distance as it’s closed for tour ism.

A stop in the shallow waters of phi phi ley where you can swim by jumping out of the speed boat. When you return to the speed boat, light refreshments like fresh fruits, cold drink, flavoured milk, muffins and snacks are served on board.

Limestone cliff caves are shown from a distance, the caves are home for treasured bird nests. These nest are used in age old chinese medicines.

A pit stop is made for snorkeling, all required equipments are provided for this fun activity, one can see colourful nemo fish and marine life.

As the name suggests this island is full of monkeys, they are shown to you from a distance, These monkeys can swim and they eat crab !

This is the biggest island of phi phi, there are many hotels, restaurants and shops on this island. A freshly made thai lunch is served in a seaview restaurant via the tour company. There is a choice of vegetarian and non vegetarian food. I enjoyed the stir fried vegetables with fried rice alot. It’s a classic thai street food favourite.

This is the last stop in the tour where you can enjoy swimming on the underdeveloped island beach. This white sand beach is also a perfect location to chill and relax.

The trip back to Phuket via the speed boat from bamboo island will take approximately an hour.
You are transported back to your hotel upon arrival at the pier.

I chose Phuket Sail Tours for my trip (due to its fantastic ratings) and thoroughly enjoyed my phi phi island tour .

Booking for this trip can be done online from :-

Our visit Chiang Mai travel guide documentary covers some of the top attractions including a food guide (best restaurants and street food), top museums, fascinating temples and the city by day and evening when Chiang Mai (เชียงใหม่) comes alive at night. We also cover off-the-beaten-path activities you won’t find in a typical Chiang Mai tour ism brochure, Chiang Mai city tour or Chiang Mai itinerary.

20 Things to do in Chiang Mai, Thailand Travel Guide Video Transcript:

Today we’re taking you around a city that we’ve been to many times before: Chiang Mai. Located in the heart of Northern Thailand, Chiang Mai is a growing city with laid back vibes, temples sprinkled around every corner, and a foodie scene that will make you drool. This is a destination where you come to unwind and that’s exactly what we did during our month long visit . Now let’s get started with this tour of Chiang Mai (清邁) so you can see what this city is all about:

One of the best things you can do in Chiang Mai is ditch the map and get lost inside the old city. It’s along the quiet back lanes that you’ll find cozy cafes, terracotta gardens, un visit ed temples, and a little flavour of the old Chiang Mai.

As you’ve probably figured out, we’re not really into nightlife, but Chiang Mai does have lots of bars where you can enjoy a drink or two. We kept things light with a Chang beer.

And that’s a wrap for our visit to Chiang Mai, Thailand. We hope this video gave you a little taste of what this city is all about. We’ll be the first to tell you that we barely scratched the surface in terms of everything Chiang Mai (清迈) has to offer, but that being said, the goal of our time here was to relax, eat well, see friends, and catch up on work. As always, if you have any other suggestions of things to do, places to visit , and restaurants to eat at, feel free to share those with fellow travellers in the comments below. Until next time!

This is part of our Travel in Thailand video series showcasing Thai food, Thai culture and Thai cuisine.

Bangkok often ranks as the most visit ed city in the world for a reason: Thailand is a beautiful, affordable destination — even for two-week trip s. Each year, millions of travelers enjoy a vacation in Thailand without spending a fortune or backpacking for months.

For a traveler, someone who wants to live the experience of travel. Who wants to explore Thailand for what it is, and not the rest of the people make it out to be, planning your trip yourself makes more sense.
The best bet will be to plan yourself. I did the panning for myself to cover Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Phi Phi and Krabi.

When you plan the itinerary yourself it gives you the flexibility to overstay in a place or cut down on the days in a city. It also goes easy on the budget as most of the adventure activities are generally not part of a booked tour package and you will end up spending more.

Planning ahead can save you cost and time.
